PhD Chemistry (UoW)
Research interests:
Synthesis and characterization of monomers and their corresponding polymers (including conductive polymers) such as pyrrole, aniline and thiophene. Synthesis of novel organic chiral (handed) compounds and their polymerization to yield chiral polyelectrolytes or chiral hydrogels. Development of large-scale process for the synthesis of monomers and resulting conducting polymers such as polyaniline and polypyrrole. Synthesis of ionic liquids.
