Professor Leon Kane-Maguire
Qualifications:
BSc (Hons 1st class), University of Queensland
PhD, University of Queensland.
Research Interests:
(1) The synthesis and stereochemical properties of conducting polymers, especially polyanilines.
(2) The synthesis of chiral conducting polymers and their use as novel chiral electrodes for the electrochemical asymmetric synthesis of drugs.
(3) The photoluminescence of polyanilines and novel light initiated redox reactions with such polymers.
